Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Availability analysis of the traveling-wave maser amplifiers in the deep space network. Part 1: The 70-meter antennas [PDF]

open access: yes
The results of the reliability and availability analyses of the individual S- and X-band traveling-wave maser (TWM) assemblies and their operational configurations in the 70-meter antennas of NASA's Deep Space Network (DSN) are described.

An initial approach to distributed adaptive fault-handling in networked systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We present a distributed adaptive fault-handling algorithm applied in networked systems. The probabilistic approach that we use makes the proposed method capable of adaptively detect and localize network faults by the use of simple end-to-end test ...

Markov Model-Based Reliability Analysis Considering the Redundancy Effect of Modular Converters

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper uses a DAB converter and a non-isolated DC-DC converter as modules. It analyzes the differences in circuit characteristics and reliability due to the redundancy effect by combining them in series and parallel.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Reliability Analysis Considering the PFC Function and Redundancy Effect of the Vienna Converter

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper analyzes the impact of power factor correction (PFC) on the failure rate of a Vienna converter through reliability analysis under conditions where AC-to-DC conversion is possible but the PFC function is not functioning due to a partial failure
