Near-optimal mean value estimates for multidimensional Weyl sums
We obtain sharp estimates for multidimensional generalisations of Vinogradov's mean value theorem for arbitrary translation-dilation invariant systems, achieving constraints on the number of variables approaching those conjectured to be the best possible.

ABSTRACT End‐of‐life conversations with adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer rarely occur without the guidance of healthcare professionals. As a part of the ‘Difficult Discussions’ study, focused on palliative care and advance care planning discussions with AYAs with cancer, we investigated the factors that healthcare professionals identify ...

On mean value properties involving a logarithm-type weight [PDF]
Two new assertions characterizing analytically disks in the Euclidean plane $\mathbb{R}^2$ are proved. Weighted mean value property of positive solutions to the Helmholtz and modified Helmholtz equations are used for this purpose; the weight has a ...

On some mean value theorem via covering argument
We show how the full covering argument can be used to prove some type of Cauchy mean value theorem.

ABSTRACT Purpose Pediatric central nervous system (CNS) tumors often recur despite multimodality therapy. Although re‐irradiation (re‐RT) has historically been limited by concerns for severe late toxicities, modern techniques have renewed interest in this approach. Proton therapy provides dosimetric advantages that may enable curative re‐treatment with

ABSTRACT Background Survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often exhibit early deficits in muscle and movement competence, which can compromise long‐term health. Integrative neuromuscular training (INT), a multifaceted approach combining fundamental movement activities with strength exercises, may help address these deficits during ...

MEAN VALUES AND MEAN-CONVOLUTION PRODUCTS
This paper is concerned with mean values and mean convolution products for bounded measurable functions on \(R^m\). These are computed with respect to a weight function \(h(x)\), which is nonnegative and has the unit mass. The limit \(M(h,f)\) of \((1/L^m)I[h((x-y)/L)f(y)]\), as \(L\) goes to infinity, when it exists independently of \(x\), is the mean

Added value in publishing: I don’t think those words mean what you think they mean [PDF]
Neither the incumbent subscription publishers, nor their current library customers, appear to believe that the value added by publishers justifies the current costs.

ABSTRACT Background Blinatumomab is a bispecific T‐cell engager approved for the treatment of pediatric B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL). Outpatient home infusion reduces hospitalization burden and optimizes resource utilization, but is logistically challenging.

On the mean value of the energy for resonant states
In this work we discuss possible definitions of the mean value of the energy for a resonant (Gamow) state. The mathematical and physical aspects of the formalism are reviewed.
