Causal‐Guided Ultra‐Long‐Term Time Series Forecasting Via Anticipated Covariates

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Often treated as unknown, information from the future remains underutilized. We demonstrate that in a coupled dynamical system, providing the future state of the effect enables accurate forecasting of the cause for a long timesteps. A time series forecasting paradigm that introduces anticipated covariates to represent such known future states is ...

Mean Value Theorems for Vector Valued Functions [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, 1965
The object of this paper is to give a generalisation to vector valued functions of the classical mean value theorem of differential calculus. In that theorem we havefor some c in the open interval a, b when f is a real valued function which is continuous on the closed interval a, b and differentiable on the open interval.

Exact Discrete Stochastic Simulation With Deep‐Learning‐Scale Gradient Optimization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A 203,796‐parameter gene regulatory network classifies handwritten digits with 98.4% accuracy using exact stochastic dynamics. The framework decouples forward simulation from backward differentiation, making continuous‐time Markov chain models compatible with deep‐learning optimization.

A Study on Some Fundamental Properties of Continuity and Differentiability of Functions of Soft Real Numbers

open access: yesAdvances in Fuzzy Systems, 2018
We introduce a new type of functions from a soft set to a soft set and study their properties under soft real number setting. Firstly, we investigate some properties of soft real sets.

StackingNet: Collective Inference Across Independent AI Foundation Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) built on large foundation models has transformed language understanding, computer vision, and reasoning, yet these systems remain isolated and cannot readily share their capabilities. Coordinating the complementary strengths of independently developed, black‐box foundation models is essential for trustworthy ...

On Giaccardi's Inequality and Associated Functional in the Plane

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2018
In this paper the authors extend Giaccardi's inequality to coordinates in the plane. The authors consider the nonnegative associated functional due to Giaccardi's inequality in plane and discuss its properties for certain class of parametrized functions.

Generalization of cyclic refinements of Jensen’s inequality by Fink’s identity

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
We generalize cyclic refinements of Jensen’s inequality from a convex function to a higher-order convex function by means of Lagrange–Green’s function and Fink’s identity.

Enhanced Antibacterial Properties of Lyotropic Liquid Crystalline Nanoparticles via Curvature Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lipid nanostructured particles with increasing negative Gaussian curvature progress from vesicles to P‐cubosomes and D‐cubosomes. This curvature hierarchy enhances interaction with bacterial membranes, promotes membrane remodeling and leakage, and potentiates daptomycin activity against MRSA.

Absorption of Broadband Low‐Frequency Sound Beyond the Thermodynamics Limit: An Acoustic Resonator With Magnetic Bearing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a magnetic‐bearing acoustic resonator that overcomes the thermodynamics limit of sound absorption. By introducing tunable negative stiffness, it achieves broadband low‐frequency absorption within a compact cavity, far exceeding the performance achievable by classic mass‐tuned designs.

Fluctuations of a beam with clamped ends

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2015
In this paper we study the initial problem for the equation of a beam with clamped ends. Uniqueness, existence and stability theorems are proved for the problem in the classes of regular and generalized solutions.
