Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Invertible Measure Preserving Transformations and Pointwise Convergence [PDF]
An investigation of pointwise convergence of sequences {2. _a'f(T-x) :k= 1, 2,* } wheref lies in the space L1([O, 1]) of Lebesgue integrable functions on the unit interval, T is an invertible measure preserving transformation on [0, 1], and the sequence of polynomials { kz-j=1, 2, } is uniformly bounded and pointwise convergent for all z such that JzJ =

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Ergodic Measure Preserving Transformations of Finite Type
Let T be an invertible ergodic measure preserving (e.m.p.) transformation of an infinite \(\sigma\)-finite Lebesgue measure space (X,\({\mathcal B},m)\). A set W is called weakly wandering (w.w.) if there exists a strictly increasing sequence \((n_ i)\) of integers such that \(T^{n_ i}W\cap T^{n_ j}W=\emptyset\) for \(i\neq j\); and \((n_ i)\) is ...

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Groups of measure preserving transformations
Let G be a group of measure-preserving transformations on a non-atomic probability measure space \((X,{\mathcal B},\mu)\) (if we are interested in the according topological versions we assume that G is locally compact and the action on the sets \(A\in {\mathcal B}\) is continuous with respect to the metric \(\rho (A,B)=\mu (A\Delta B)).\) The main ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...
