Equivalent martingale measures and Lévy processes [PDF]

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Background risk model in presence of heavy tails under dependence

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis
In this paper, we examine two problems on applied probability, which are directly connected with the dependence in presence of heavy tails. The first problem is related to max-sum equivalence of the randomly weighted sums in bivariate setup. Introducing

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Research on the optimisation strategy of short-circuit current limitation based on quantum genetic algorithm

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
With the expansion of urban power grid, short-circuit current issue becomes more important. This study proposes an effective approach to optimise short-circuit current limiting measure configuration.

Undecidability of $L(\mathcal{A})=L(\mathcal{B})$ recognized by measure many 1-way quantum automata

open access: yes, 2019
Let $L_{>\lambda}(\mathcal{A})$ and $L_{\geq\lambda}(\mathcal{A})$ be the languages recognized by {\em measure many 1-way quantum finite automata (MMQFA)} (or,{\em enhanced 1-way quantum finite automata(EQFA)}) $\mathcal{A}$ with strict, resp. non-strict

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

At Work..., and Poor? A Look at the Czech Working Poor Population in the Living Conditions Survey (EU-SILC) [PDF]

open access: yesStatistika: Statistics and Economy Journal, 2013
The main aim of the article is to analyse the working poor employees and their household's social situation in the national income and living conditions survey (EU-SILC).

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Equivalent measures of dependence

open access: yesJournal of Multivariate Analysis, 1983
AbstractThe maximal correlation between a pair of σ-fields A and B becomes arbitrarily small as sup{|P(A ⋔ B) − P(A) P(B)|/[P(A) P(B)]1/2, A ∈ A, B ∈ B, P(A) > 0, P(B) > 0} becomes sufficiently small.
