Invariant Measure for Linear Stochastic PDEs in the space of Tempered distributions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In this paper, we first explore exponential stability by using Monotonicity inequality and use this information to obtain the existence of Invariant measure for linear Stochastic PDEs with potential in the space of tempered distributions. The uniqueness of Invariant Measure follows from Monotonicity inequality.

Ergodic Decomposition for Measures Quasi-Invariant Under Borel Actions of Inductively Compact Groups [PDF]

open access: yesSb. Math., 205:2 (2014), 192-219, 2011
The aim of this paper is to prove ergodic decomposition theorems for probability measures quasi-invariant under Borel actions of inductively compact groups (Theorem 1) as well as for sigma-finite invariant measures (Corollary 1). For infinite measures the ergodic decomposition is not unique, but the measure class of the decomposing measure on the space

Connecting Droplet Adhesion with Sperm Kinematics: A New Paradigm in Sperm Quality Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates direct experimental evidence to establish a nonintuitive connection between the motion characteristics of self‐propelled sperm cells and their surface interaction. Simultaneous motion visualization and cantilever‐deflection‐based adhesion characterization reveal that sperm‐cell droplets with higher motility exhibit lower surface

Modulating Polaron Behavior in PM6 Blends with Nonfullerene and Fullerene Acceptors: The Importance of Singlet Energy Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Transient absorption spectroscopy is employed to demonstrate that nonfullerene acceptors inhibit the formation of bound polaron pairs in conjugated polymers, which would otherwise undergo rapid relaxation back to the ground state. Instead, efficient energy transfer from the polymer to the non‐fullerene acceptor takes place, facilitating high charge ...

Taiwanese depression questionnaire revisit: Factor structure and measurement invariance across genders

open access: yesJournal of the Formosan Medical Association, 2019
Background/purpose: Taiwanese Depression Questionnaire (TDQ) was widely used in Taiwan to measure individuals' proneness to depression. In light of well-established gender differences in the manifestation of depression, TDQ's structure invariance and ...

Generic expanding maps without absolutely continuous invariant $σ$-finite measure [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2006
We show that a $C^1$-generic expanding map of the circle has no absolutely continuous invariant $\sigma$-finite measure.

AFM‐Based Functional Tomography – To Mill or Not to Mill, that is the Question!

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Complex networks of conducting domain wall interfaces exist hidden underneath the surface of ferroelectric hexagonal manganites. It reveals the morphology and conductive properties directly by 3D tomographic atomic force microscopy. It correlates the measured surface level conductance with subsurface domain wall structure, and discuss the existence ...
