PRDM1+ Malignant Cells Mediate an Immunosuppressive Landscape and Resistance to Neoadjuvant Chemoradiotherapy and Immunotherapy in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated scRNA‐seq, scTCR‐seq analysis, and functional assays identify PRDM1+ malignant epithelial cells with hyper lipid peroxidation characteristics that demonstrate reduced responsiveness to the nICRT treatment. Principal factor PRDM1 activates cysteine metabolism genes to modulate lipid peroxidation (an intrinsic cellular pathway related to ...

Optimization of inclination angle of locking anchor pipe during excavation of upper and middle steps of deeply buried soft rock tunnels

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao
In the initial support of soft rock tunnels, the combined support of steel frame and locking foot anchor pipe is an effective and economical support measure to control the deformation of surrounding rock of the tunnels.

A numerical study on the influence of anchorage failure for a deep excavation retained by anchored pile walls

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2018
This article aims to study the mechanical behavior of a deep excavation occurring in sandy soils retained by anchored pile walls under anchorage failure conditions. The primary causes and types of anchorage failures are summarized. Based on an excavation

The FOXC2‐LAMA4 Axis Orchestrates Vasculogenic Mimicry and Immunosuppressive Niche Formation to Drive Metastatic Cascade in Renal Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma metastasis is driven by a FOXC2+ tumor subpopulation. These cells execute vasculogenic mimicry for dissemination and secrete LAMA4. LAMA4 engages macrophage ITGA6, activating the STAT6/GATA3 axis to polarize macrophages into a pro‐metastatic, immunosuppressive phenotype.

Calcium Channel Blockers Inhibit Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms Progression via Cav1.2‐Epigenetic Circuit

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study reveals a novel mechanism of a positive regulatory circuit between Cav1.2 and H3K27ac for pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNENs) progression. Cav1.2 is identified as a crucial target for promoting disease progression and correlates with malignant behaviors, which are remarkably inhibited by the administration of calcium channel blockers (
