Nonlinear laminate analysis for metal matrix fiber composites [PDF]
A nonlinear laminate analysis is described for predicting the mechanical behavior (stress-strain relationships) of angleplied laminates in which the matrix is strained nonlinearly by both the residual stress and the mechanical load and in which ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Force-Loaded Cementocytes Regulate Osteoclastogenesis Via S1p/S1pr1/ Rac1 Axis
Aim or purpose: This study elucidates the pivotal role of the sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P)/S1PR1/Rac1 axis in cementocyte-regulated osteoclastogenesis during orthodontically induced inflammatory root resorption (OIIRR).

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Development of Primary Cell Cultures from Haplochromine Cichlid Bone-Derived Tissues
Bone is a dynamic tissue with ecological and evolutionary importance, as it can grow and remodel itself in response to mechanical stimuli. In mammals, osteocytes are widely recognised as the central regulators of bone formation and mechanotransduction ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Research progress on the role of biomechanical clues in the progression of lung cancer
Cells in mammals perceive and react to the mechanical properties of their surrounding environment. Disease progression is frequently linked to dynamic changes in cellular and tissue mechanics.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
