Ultrasensitive Anti‐Stokes Luminescence Thermometry in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Monolayers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a highly sensitive nanothermometer using anti‐Stokes photoluminescence, also known as photoluminescence upconversion (UPL), in monolayer tungsten disulfide. A strong resonantly enhanced UPL is observed, confirming the central role of optical phonons in the PL upconversion mechanism.

Swelling‐Induced Stress‐Assisted Transfer of Nanodiamond Arrays With a PVA Carrier Tape for Conformal Bio‐Integrated Sensing and Labelling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a swelling‐induced, stress‐assisted water‐soluble PVA tape strategy to transfer‐print nanodiamond quantum‐sensor arrays onto soft, curved biological interfaces. The room‐temperature, water‐triggered process achieves >98% fidelity and residue‐free integration, enabling conformal quantum sensing on contact lenses, neural probes, and ...

Some novel exact solutions for the generalized time-space fractional coupled Hirota-Satsuma KdV equation

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
In this paper, two efficient methods, namely the modified G′/G,1/G-expansion method and the G′/bG′+G+a-expansion method, are employed to obtain novel exact wave solutions for the generalized time-space fractional coupled Hirota-Satsuma KdV equation ...

Poroelastic microlattices for underwater wave focusing

open access: yes
Metamaterials with microscale architectures, e.g., microlattices, can exhibit extreme quasi-static mechanical response and tailorable acoustic properties. When coupled with pressure waves in surrounding fluid, the dynamic behavior of microlattices in the
