Polymer microbubbles as universal platform to accelerate polymer mechanochemistry
The flow-induced activation of mechanophores embedded in linear polymers by ultrasound (US) suffers from slow mechanochemical conversions at the commonly used frequency of 20 kHz and in many cases remains ineffective with higher MHz frequencies. Here, we

Mechanochemical topological defects in an active nematic
We propose a reaction-diffusion system that converts topological information of an active nematic into chemical signals. We show that a curvature-activated reaction dipole is sufficient for creating a system that dynamically senses topology by producing a concentration field possessing local extrema coinciding with $\pm\frac{1}{2}$ defects.

A wet ball‐milling method is presented to synthesize iron magnetic nanoparticles and evaluate their magnetic hyperthermia performance. Optimized particles (∼270 nm, Ms ∼114 emu/g) achieve ∼50°C heating under clinically safe alternating magnetic fields, while pulsed‐field operation enables controlled temperature regulation (∼30°C).

Tensile‐strained bismuth nanosheets (TS‐BiNs) achieve a formate Faradaic efficiency of 92% at −1000 mA cm−2 and enable stable production of pure formic acid (HCOOH) in a solid‐state electrolyte reactor. Theoretical calculations reveal that the introduced strain lowers the energy barrier for *OCHO intermediate formation, fundamentally enhancing the ...
