Experimentally realized mechanochemistry distinct from force-accelerated scission of loaded bonds [PDF]
Stretching polymer chains accelerates dissociation of a variety of internal covalent bonds, to an extent that correlates well with the force experienced by the scissile bond.

Fast synthesis of the polycrystalline materials on the base of Zn 3 V2 MoO11 and Zn 2.5 VMoO8 [PDF]
In our study we applied two different techniques for the preparation of Zn3V2MoO11 and Zn2.5VMoO8 polycrystalline materials - melt quenching method (up-bottom) and mechanochemical synthesis (bottom- up).

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Mechanochemical recrystallization: Forgotten basics and new possibilities
The task of this article is to update, develop and introduce into scientific practice the method of "mechanochemical recrystallization" in solid-phase systems with small additives of the liquid phase of the solvent and solid-phase precursors to stabilize

Mechanochromism of Glassy Polymers Enabled by a Loop‐Forming Supramolecular Mechanophore
The supramolecular mechanophore LOOP is covalently introduced into glassy polymers, capable of reporting force‐induced pre‐failure damage and local fracture events in polymer glasses. Under different mechanical deformation modes, including grinding, tensile stretching, and scratching, LOOP probes irreversible events in polymer glasses through a ...

Adaptive Hydrogels With Spatiotemporal Stiffening Using pH‐Modulating Enzymes
The chemomechanical coupling in an adaptive hydrogel is studied to further the development of adaptive hydrogels. This coupling is achieved by embedding a pH‐modulating enzyme in a pH‐responsive hydrogel. The enzymatic reaction can be triggered locally, which generates a pH‐decreasing wave throughout the system, increasing the crosslinking density and ...

Extraction of antimony and arsenic from sulphidic concentrates [PDF]
The efficiency of both mineral processing and extractive metallurgy of minerals depends on the separation of individual mineral components and on the exposure of their surface.
