Mechanochemistry of Spiropyran under Internal Stresses of a Glassy Polymer [PDF]
Mechanophores are powerful molecular tools used to track bond rupture and characterize mechanical damage in polymers. The majority of mechanophores are known to respond to external stresses, and we report in this study the first precedent of a ...

Mechanochemistry Meets Catalysis: Metal Complexes for Greener Organic Transformations
Mechanochemistry is redefining metal catalysis by controlling catalyst formulation, speciation, and deployment. This Review shows how milling, LAG, RAM, and TSE enable rapid metal‐complex assembly, distinctive catalytic manifolds, and scalable synthesis beyond solution chemistry.

The strategy of engineering nanogel network topology is developed to achieve iterative activation of mechanophores upon high‐frequency and low‐intensity ultrasound. This places the nanogel system among the systems that can respond to the ultrasound with the highest frequency and lowest intensity as well as have the fastest activation rate so far.

Thermal transformations of bismuth (III) tartrates
The processes of oxidative thermolysis of bismuth tartrates [Bi(NO3)(C4H4O6)]·3H2O and BiC4H3O6·H2O precipitated from bismuth nitrate solutions was studied by the methods of X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy and chemical analysis.

Polymer Mechanochemistry in Microbubbles
AbstractPolymer mechanochemistry is a promising technology to convert mechanical energy into chemical functionality by breaking covalent and supramolecular bonds site‐selectively. Yet, the mechanochemical reaction rates of covalent bonds in typically used ultrasonication setups lead to reasonable conversions only after comparably long sonication times.

Synthesis of porous ceramics for ceramic biosensors [PDF]
Highly porous ceramic materials with open porosity are perspective for manufacture of the biosensors. Those materials are used as a framework and open porosity allows to inject a necessary functional components into internal volume.

The many flavours of mechanochemistry and its plausible conceptual underpinnings [PDF]
Mechanochemistry describes diverse phenomena in which mechanical load affects chemical reactivity. The fuzziness of this definition means that it includes processes as seemingly disparate as motor protein function, organic synthesis in a ball mill ...

High purity β-Bi2O3 preparation by thermal decomposition of tartrates
The processes of oxidative thermolysis of bismuth(III) DL-tartrate BiC4H3O6 obtained by the interaction of high-purity basic bismuth(III) nitrates [Bi6O4(OH)4](NO3)6·H2O and [Bi6O5(OH)3](NO3)5·3H2O with DL-tartaric acid solution have been investigated ...
