Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

Tryptophan metabolite atlas uncovers organ, age, and sex‐specific variations
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Tryptophan metabolites were analyzed across twelve organs, the central nervous system, and serum in male and female mice at three life stages. We found tissue‐, sex‐, and age‐specific differences, including increased indole‐3‐pyruvate and kynurenine in aging males.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Representation of the suggested mode of action of lactoferrin (Lf) in nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) A549 cells. Lf induces activation of caspase‐3 by activating p53 and AChE leading to decreased ACh concentrations. In turn, ACh signaling leads to activation of VEGF and AKT and blocking of caspase‐3.
