This study investigates a synergistic effect between 3D‐printed surface features and mechanical micro‐strain in enhancing the osteogenic, angiogenic, and myogenic responses of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs). Load‐induced mechanotransduction, facilitated by the implant's architectural design, significantly amplifies hMSC differentiation.

Ultra‐Tiny Gelatin Nanoparticles‐Assisted 3D Stem Cell Spheroids for Engineering Tissue Regeneration
GNPs effectively guide the formation of structurally compact and functionally enhanced stem cell spheroids. This GNP‐assisted 3D culture system improves cell–cell and cell‐ECM interactions, leading to superior viability and complexity. Time‐dependent regenerative potential is demonstrated in both bone and skin defects, positioning GNP‐spheroids as a ...

The full benefit of many effective medications will be achieved only if patients adhere to prescribed treatment regimens. Unfortunately, applying terms such as “noncompliant” and “nonadherent” to patients who do not consume every pill at the desired time can stigmatize them in their future relationships with health care providers.

Medication adherence in hypertension
Journal of Hypertension, 2020Suboptimal adherence to antihypertensive medication is a major contributor to poor blood pressure control. Several methods, direct or indirect, are available for measuring adherence, including the recently developed biochemical screening, although there is no gold-standard method routinely used in clinical practice to ...

Dermatologic Medication Adherence
Dermatologic Clinics, 2009Human behavior is directly related to the development of various skin disease conditions and to the effectiveness of skin disease treatment regimens. Adherence research studies have demonstrated abysmal adherence to topical treatment of common skin disorders, opening new opportunities for improving skin disease treatment outcomes. The treatment of skin

Measuring Medication Adherence
Population Health Management, 2009Several studies have shown that poor adherence to pharmaceutical treatment regimens increases health condition severity, mortality rates, and overall health care costs. The dimension of medication adherence in health management outcomes has been deficient of a comprehensive yet practical standardized measurement methodology.

Medication adherence in Parkinson's
British Journal of Nursing, 2013Parkinson's is a complex degenerative disease which affects both motor and non-motor function and as such requires regular reassessment and collaboration between the patient and the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes. Complex medication regimes are often prescribed to manage symptoms; however, issues such as compliance, adherence and ...
