Should cotton growers apply full nitrogen rate when using broiler‐litter as soil amendment?
Abstract Nitrogen plays a critical role in cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) production. Interest in using broiler (Gallus gallus domesticus) litter has increased in recent years due to its nutrient and soil health benefits. However, growers typically do not discount the N present in broiler litter and apply a full dose of fertilizer N.

Phosphorus Availability and Spring Barley Yields Under Graded P-Doses in a Pot Experiment
The pot experiment with graded P doses was carried out in 2015 and 2016 in the Crop Research Institute, Prague – Ruzyně (undermentioned CRI). Three soil types were chosen for the experiment – Chernozem, Cambisol, Haplic Luvisol. The soils were treated by

Iron interference in Mo determination in Mehlich-1 and Mehlich-3 soil extracts
Among the essential plant nutrients, molybdenum (Mo) has the lowest concentration in soils. A routine method for the determination of soil Mo availability is not yet established. Soil analysis methods have been tested but not one has been set to be used in a routine basis in Brazilian laboratories.

Relation between multi-nutrient soil tests and boron in barley
The aim of study was to verify a possibility of adding boron to multi-nutrient soil tests: Mehlich 3, water (1:5) and 0.5M NH4-acetate extraction. Thirty-six different soils from topsoils of agriculturally farmed field were used for the study.
