Impact of Fish Oil and Flaxseed Oil on HIF-2α, COX-2 and IFN-γ Protein Expression: A Case Study in Rats With Kidney Damage Due to Circadian Rhythm Disorder. [PDF]
1. This investigation divulges how disruption in circadian rhythms lead to the disequilibrium of critical signalling proteins like HIF‐2α, COX‐2 and IFN‐γ, contributing to kidney damage and inflammation. 2. Treatment with omega‐3 rich fish oil and flaxseed oil significantly reduced inflammation markers and kidney damage, demonstrating their potential ...

Comparison of the effects of an endotracheal tube and a V-gel airway device on intraocular pressure and haemodynamic responses in anaesthetised cats. [PDF]
Abstract Background This study aimed to compare the effects of placing an endotracheal tube (ETT) versus a V‐gel airway device on intraocular pressure (IOP), heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP) and peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) in anaesthetised cats.

The Effects of Storage Conditions and Homogenisation Buffers on the Measurement of SOD, CAT and ADA Enzyme Activities in Cattle Liver. [PDF]
It is important to accurately measure enzyme activities in research studies to evaluate parameters, and many factors may affect the results of the measurements. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of storage conditions (time and temperature) and different homogenisation buffers (PBS or KCl) on the measurement of SOD, CAT and ADA enzyme

Comparison of the Effectiveness of Nigella Sativa and Vitamin E in Preventing Intra-abdominal Adhesions. [PDF]
In a rat model of intra‐abdominal adhesions, Vitamin E (vit E) and Nigella sativa (NS) oil were compared for their therapeutic effects. While both reduced inflammation and fibrosis, vit E demonstrated superior efficacy, significantly lowering TNF‐α levels, reducing fibrosis, and enhancing collagen maturation.

Green Photooxidation of 1-Naphthol Using a Zinc Phthalocyanine-Loaded MCM-41 Heterogeneous Catalyst. [PDF]
The noncovalent functionalization of MCM‐41 with zinc phthalocyanine is achieved via simple mixing. A low‐cost, 3D‐printed photoreactor is fabricated, and the performance of the photocatalyst is evaluated using this custom‐built device. The photocatalyst exhibits excellent activity (> 89%), selectivity (> 99%), and recyclability in the photooxidation ...

The Role of Anti-Müllerian Hormone in Van Cats in Relation to Sex and Reproductive Status. [PDF]
This study investigates the serum anti‐Müllerian hormone (AMH) concentrations in Van cats across different reproductive statuses. Blood samples were collected from prepubertal, pubertal and neutered male cats; prepubertal; pubertal as well as spayed queens. AMH levels were measured and compared to assess gonadal function and sexual development.

Assessment of Risk Factors Related to Environmental Factors and Herd Management for Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus and Bovine Parainfluenza Virus-3 Infections Frequently Observed in Beef and Dairy Cattle. [PDF]
In this study, molecular diagnosis of BRSV and BPIV3 factors was aimed and risk factors were tried to be determined by considering ‘environmental factors’, ‘herd management factors’ and ‘infection‐related factors.’ RT‐PCR technique was used for the molecular detection of pathogens and multivariate and univariate statistical analyses were performed ...

Association between aortomitral continuity calcification and conduction disturbances following transcatheter aortic valve implantation with the balloon-expandable Myval valve. [PDF]
Impact of Aortomitral Continuity Calcification on Conduction Disturbances After TAVI with the Myval Valve. Abstract Background Given the anatomical proximity of the cardiac conduction system, aortomitral continuity calcification (AMCC) may contribute to conduction disturbances (CD) during transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) due to radial ...
