ブチルエーテル化メラミン樹脂中のメチロール基を定量する目的で研究を行なった。ジオキサンを溶剤に用いてヨード法で行なうと樹脂の析出を防いで定量できることがわかったので, その適用条件を検討しブタノール比色定量法およびリン酸加熱分解法と併用して樹脂の組成を求めた。
