Tranexamic Acid for Hyperpigmentation Disorders: A Literature Review on Efficacy and Safety in Melasma and PIH. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Cosmet Dermatol
ABSTRACT Background Hyperpigmentation disorders, including melasma and post‐inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), are common dermatologic conditions associated with significant cosmetic and psychological burden. Tranexamic acid (TXA), an antifibrinolytic agent, has gained increasing attention due to its anti‐inflammatory and antimelanogenic properties.

Effects of ascorbic acid and erythorbic acid on melanosis and quality in different shrimp species

open access: yesActa Aquatica, 2020
With this study, ascorbic acid and erythorbic acid were used for the first time to prevent melanosis in shrimp. Three shrimp species (Aristaeomorpha foliacea, Plesionika edwardsi and Melicertus hathor) were used.
