Abstract Immature and adult wild turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris) from Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, South Carolina, and West Virginia were examined for helminth parasites. Eleven trematodes, 8 cestodes, 1 acanthocephala, and 15 species of nematodes were found in 425 turkeys.
