Abstract BACKGROUND Italy harbors one of the richest grapevine biodiversities worldwide, yet the sensory identity of wines from many native cultivars remains poorly defined despite their relevance on the market at regional, national, or international levels.

Series representation for Milne-Thomson type polynomials with approach of Mellin transformation
International Conference on Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics 2018, ICNAAM 2018 -- 13 September 2018 through 18 September 2018 -- -- 149843The goal of this paper is to apply the Mellin transformation to the generating functions for the Milne ...

Conformal correlators as simplex integrals in momentum space
We find the general solution of the conformal Ward identities for scalar n-point functions in momentum space and in general dimension. The solution is given in terms of integrals over (n − 1)-simplices in momentum space.

Solving the n $n$‐Player Tullock Contest
ABSTRACT The n $n$‐player Tullock contest with complete information is known to admit explicit solutions in special cases, such as (i) homogeneous valuations, (ii) constant returns, and (iii) two contestants. But can the model be solved more generally?

A fractional residue theorem and its applications in calculating real integrals
Abstract As part of an ongoing effort to fractionalise complex analysis, we present a fractional version of the residue theorem, involving pseudo‐residues calculated at branch points. Since fractional derivatives are non‐local and fractional powers necessitate branch cuts, each pseudo‐residue depends on a line segment in the complex plane rather than a

Le châtoiement qui caractérise les images de Radar à Synthèse d'Ouverture (RSO) est un bruit multiplicatif. La transformation de Mellin, moins populaire que la transformation de Fourier, est cependant mieux adaptée au traitement de ce type d'images.

Distribution of integer points on determinant surfaces and a mod‐p analogue
Abstract We establish an asymptotic formula for counting integer solutions with smooth weights to an equation of the form xy−zw=r$xy-zw=r$, where r$r$ is a non‐zero integer, with an explicit main term and a strong bound on the error term in terms of the size of the variables x,y,z,w$x, y, z, w$ as well as of r$r$.

α-Mellin Transform and One of Its Applications [PDF]
MSC 2010: 35R11, 44A10, 44A20, 26A33, 33C45We consider a generalization of the classical Mellin transformation, called α-Mellin transformation, with an arbitrary (fractional) parameter α > 0. Here we continue the presentation from the paper [5], where we

Mellin Transforms on Binary Fields
Some boundedness and inversion results are proved for a large class of operators on binary fields, i.e., on 2-series and 2-adic fields. As a special case, it is obtained, that the Mellin transform on any binary field can be extended to a bounded linear isometry on \(L_2\).
