steel research international, EarlyView.Focusing on the critical tap hole region of the blast furnace, this work examines binder characteristics, prepares tap hole clay with different formulations, and evaluates their physical properties. The findings confirm the advantages of composite binders and offer a new binder option for tap hole clay.

steel research international, EarlyView.This study investigates the potential for reducing emissions during the sintering process by selectively adjusting the O2, CO, and H2O content in the recirculation gas. Adjusting these components positively affects the sintering process, enabling the coke breeze content in the sinter mixture to be reduced.
