Malignancy-associated membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis
Pediatric Nephrology, 1997An 11-year-old girl with an abdominal desmoplastic round cell tumor, treated with chemotherapy, presented with gross hematuria and proteinuria. Renal biopsy revealed type I membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN). The association of a malignant tumor and MPGN is extremely unusual in children, and the pathogenesis of the renal lesion under these

Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis in Pregnancy
The American Journal of the Medical Sciences, 2017Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN) is an uncommon form of glomerulonephritis and it can be particularly difficult to predict outcomes and manage women with this disorder during pregnancy. The management of 3 successful pregnancies in women with MPGN from 1 center and previously described cases from the world literature are reviewed.

Hypocomplementemic (Membranoproliferative) Glomerulonephritis
American Journal of Diseases of Children, 1972Persistent glomerulonephritis with low serum hemolytic complement activity and serum β1C globulin level has been reported in children and young adults. The disease, characterized by intermittent episodes of gross hematuria and nephrotic syndrome, often progresses to severe renal failure.

Immunosuppressive Treatment of Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis
Nephron, 1994The treatment of membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN) is considered by most authors as unrewarding, and the disease progresses to end-stage renal disease (ESRD). We studied the effectiveness of a new immunosuppressive (IS) regimen by analyzing the rates of remission, relapse and progression to ESRD in 19 patients with MPGN.

Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis and amyloidosis
Human Pathology, 1984The first known case of membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis co-existing with amyloidosis is reported. The question of whether the amyloidosis was secondary to the glomerulonephritis or whether primary amyloidosis co-existed with membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis is addressed.
