Memory States and Memory Tasks: An Integrative Framework for Eyewitness Memory and Suggestibility

Memory, 1998
An integrative framework (IMP) is presented which depicts performance in eyewitness suggestibility experiments as the participants' solutions of memory tasks, depending on (a) a specified task-relevant memory base and (b) the participants' perception of the memory task.

An ARQ Scheme with Memory and Integrated Modulation

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1987
In this paper, the integration of the modulation operation in an automatic-repeat-request scheme, using error-detecting codes, is analyzed. A new protocol is described, in which the modulation operation facilitates the recovery of the transmitted code word.

Visual memory capacity in transsaccadic integration

Experimental Brain Research, 2007
How we perceive the visual world as stable and unified suggests the existence of transsaccadic integration that retains and integrates visual information from one eye fixation to another eye fixation across saccadic eye movements. However, the capacity of transsaccadic integration is still a subject of controversy.

A Digital Integrator with a Memory

Instrumentation Science & Technology, 1974
ABSTRACT An inexpensive (∼ $120), versatile, easily constructed digital integrator is described. Linearity is better than 1% for voltages of 0.1 to 15 V inputs. Input uncertainties are ≤ ∼ 200 μ V. Input impedance is ∼ 0.5 M. Integrals spanning at least a 1000:1 range can be read with 1% or better accuracy without varying the gain.

Memory Integrity Protection

2011
With the growth of the personal computers and the internet, computers are now integrated into our lives. With all the conveniences this phenomena also creates more vulnerabilities. An intruder who is physically located on the other side of the earth may gain access to our most secret information by breaking through our firewall and gaining access to ...

A 32 kbyte integrated cache memory

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1989
The system, circuit, layout and device levels of an integrated cache memory (ICM), which includes 32 kbyte DATA memory with typical address to HIT delay of 18 ns and address to DATA delay of 23 ns, are described. The ICM offers the largest memory size and the fastest speed ever reported in a cache memory.

Memory recirculation and integration

Science, 2018
Neuroscience Hippocampal pattern separation minimizes interference between experiences and is critical to episodic memory (a person's collection of memories of an event). However, the hippocampus is also critical for the integration of information across episodes. These two roles are apparently in conflict.

Integrated memory elements on microcontroller devices

Proceedings of WESCON '94, 2002
The purpose of this paper is to discuss novel uses of memory as well as new memory types, such as electrically erasable programmable read only memory (EEPROM), that have successfully been integrated into microcontroller chips. The first section of this paper will deal with new memory types and the latter sections will discuss novel uses of memory ...

Memory Confidentiality and Integrity Protection Technology

2019
In most existing computer systems, data transmission and preservation in the form of plaintext are vulnerable to various attacks. In this paper, we use Parralelized memory Confidentiality and Integrity Protection technology (PCIP) algorithm to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of memory data. On the basis of PCIP, we use PCIP Bonsai Merkle Tree (

A hardware-integrated GPC/search memory

Proceedings of the October 27-29, 1964, fall joint computer conference, part I on XX - AFIPS '64 (Fall, part I), 1964
A search memory that can be operated in conjunction with a USQ--20 computer using only the standard input-output channels is being developed by Goodyear Aerospace Corporation. This approach is referred to as the peripheral search memory. On the other extreme, there is the possibility of completely integrating the search memory with the USQ--20 computer.
