Lebesgue number and total boundedness
A generalization of the Lebesgue number lemma is obtained. For a metric space X in the class of strongly metrizable spaces, sufficient conditions for each open cover of X with a Lebesgue number has a finite subcover are obtained.

ABSTRACT Background Advances in transcriptomics have driven the demand for minimally invasive, reproducible and high‐yield skin sampling methods, particularly for studying inflammatory skin diseases in companion animals. Hypothesis/Objectives We tested tolerability, feasibility and RNA quantity and quality of three minimally invasive skin sampling ...

Products of $H$-separable spaces in the Laver model
We prove that in the Laver model for the consistency of the Borel's conjecture, the product of any two $H$-separable spaces is $M ...

Abstract In patients previously hospitalised for COVID‐19, a 12‐week high‐intensity interval training (HIIT) intervention has previously been shown to increase left ventricular mass (LVM) immediately after the intervention. In the present study, we examined the effects of the same HIIT scheme on LVM, pulmonary diffusing capacity, symptom severity and ...

Some Common Fixed Point Theorems in Menger PM Spaces
Employing the common property (E.A), we prove some common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings via an implicit relation in Menger PM spaces. Some results on similar lines satisfying quasicontraction condition as well as -type contraction

Snow metamorphism: a fractal approach
Snow is a porous disordered medium consisting of air and three water phases: ice, vapour and liquid. The ice phase consists of an assemblage of grains, ice matrix, initially arranged over a random load bearing skeleton.

ABSTRACT Background The electrocardiogram (ECG) used for gating in cardiac MRI may be compromised by multiple confounders inside the scanner bore. Purpose To quantify the influence of magnetic field strengths (1.5 T/3 T/7 T), standardized electrode positions, and imaging sequences on ECG signals used for gating. Study Type Prospective.

Species diversity typically increases from higher to lower latitudes, but the regional‐scale variation along this geographic gradient remains unclear. It has been suggested that species diversity throughout Amazonia generally increases westward toward the Andes, but this pattern and its environmental determinants require further investigation for most ...

Menger-type covering properties of topological spaces
In this paper we find conditions under which the properties of Menger, almost Menger and weakly Menger are equivalent as well as the corresponding properties of Lindel?f-type. We give counterexamples that show the interrelations between those properties.
