Some observations on a clopen version of the Rothberger property
In this paper, we prove that a clopen version $S_1(\mathcal{C}_\mathcal{O}, \mathcal{C}_\mathcal{O})$ of the Rothberger property and Borel strong measure zeroness are independent.

Selection principles and bitopological hyperspaces
In this paper we continue to research relationships between closure-type properties of hyperspaces over a space X and covering properties of X. For a Hausdorff space X we denote by 2X the family of all closed subsets of X.

Selection principles: s-Menger and s-Rothberger-bounded groups
In this paper, selection principles are defined and studied in the realm of irresolute topological groups. Especially, s-Menger-bounded and s-Rothberger-bounded type covering properties are introduced and studied.

Selection principles and covering properties in bitopological spaces
Our main focus in this paper is to introduce and study various selection principles in bitopological spaces. In particular, Menger type, and Hurewicz type covering properties like: Almost p-Menger, star p-Menger, strongly star p-Menger, weakly p-Hurewicz,

Selection of soil for transition layers in earth dams on the example of the Świnna Poręba Dam [PDF]
The article presents considerations on the principles of soil selection for transition layers in earth dams, both of which also act as reverse filters. It focuses on the identification of phenomena related to filtration, in particular internal erosion ...

Principles and correction of 5’-splice site selection
In Eukarya, immature mRNA transcripts (pre-mRNA) often contain coding sequences, or exons, interleaved by non-coding sequences, or introns. Introns are removed upon splicing, and further regulation of the retained exons leads to alternatively spliced ...

SELECTION OF AN APPROPRIATE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT USING THE ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS
The main principles of safety risk reduction are elimination, substitution, and engineering controls. Hazardous conditions, safe work practices, and other forms of managerial controls should be provided for a safe work environment.
