\(\beta\)-Menger and \(\beta\)-Hurewicz spaces
Summary: Recently, some papers on weaker forms of classical covering properties of Hurewicz and Menger have been published. In this paper, using the covers formed by \(\beta\)-open sets, we introduce and study the properties of \(\beta\)-Menger and \(\beta\)-Hurewicz topological spaces. We give counterexamples that show the interrelations between those

In this paper, we introduce the concept of more general probabilistic contractors in probabilistic normed spaces and show the existence and uniqueness of solutions for set-valued and single-valued nonlinear operator equations in Menger probabilistic ...

Products of Menger spaces: A combinatorial approach
We construct Menger subsets of the real line whose product is not Menger in the plane. In contrast to earlier constructions, our approach is purely combinatorial. The set theoretic hypothesis used in our construction is far milder than earlier ones, and holds in all but the most exotic models of real set theory.

Mist‐net sampling comprises a key methodological component of assemblage‐wide avifaunal studies, particularly in the understorey of closed‐canopy tropical forests. To investigate mist‐net bird captures and species assemblage structure, we compiled data from 312 sites across the Pan‐Amazon.

Exploring multivalued probabilistic ψ-contractions with orbits in b-Menger spaces
Introduction/purpose: The paper presents a novel approach to certain well-established fixed point theorems for multivalued probabilistic contractions in b-Menger spaces, leveraging the boundedness of the orbits.

Functional-Type Caristi–Kirk Theorem on Menger Space and Application
In this paper, we extend Caristi’s fixed point theorem in metric spaces to probabilistic metric spaces, and also, we prove some common fixed point theorems for a pair of mappings satisfying a system of Caristi-type contractions in the setting of a Menger

Fréchet differentiation between Menger probabilistic normed spaces [PDF]
In this paper, we define and study Menger weakly and strongly P-convergent sequences and then Menger probabilistic continuity. We also display Frechet differentiation of nonlinear operators between Menger probabilistic normed spaces.

Phylogeographical studies of Amazonian birds have revealed large intraspecific diversity, even within recognized areas of endemism. To understand the origin and organization of Amazonian diversity, including the influence of current and historical landscapes, we need to evaluate fine‐scale patterns of genetic diversity in relation to detailed ...

Amacrine cell inputs to OFF midget ganglion cells in macaque retina
Abstract figure legend The goal of this study was to explain the findings from physiological studies that OFF midget ganglion cells had larger receptive field centers than expected from their dendritic field diameters. First, we confirmed that OFF mRGCs (OFF MGC) receive input from diffuse bipolar cells (DB) as well as OFF midget bipolar cells (FMB ...
