Journal of Infection, 1981Summary Two patients with meningitis due to Haemophilus parainfluenzae are reported. One had a short two day history before admission but the other had a three week history of vague indefinite fever and irritability. All haemophilus isolates from patients with meningitis should be checked for X and V factor requirements.
