OCAFI: observation centric appearance free interpolation technique for multi-object tracking
Multi-object tracking involves detecting and linking individuals over time while assigning unique IDs. However, traditional motion models often assume linear trajectories and require continuous observations, making them vulnerable to occlusions and non ...

On Batcher's merge sorts as parallel sorting algorithms
We examine the average running times of Batcher's bitonic merge and Batcher's odd-even merge when they are used as parallel merging algorithms. It has been shown previously that the running time of odd-even merge can be upper bounded by a function of the maximal rank difference for elements in the two input sequences.

Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

The process of internalization of the Shiga toxin A subunit via formation of a complex with the Shiga toxin B subunit, which specifically binds to the Gb3 receptor. The peptide is designed to act as a carrier of drugs into cancer cells. Here, we explored the potential of peptides derived from the catalytic A subunit of Shiga toxin (STxA) to be drug ...

The Sideward Pair-MERGE of the Relative Clause and Its Antecedent* [PDF]
This paper argues that Sideward Movement is possible as long as it is adjunction (Pair-MERGE), although Chomsky (2019a, b, c) and Chomsky, Gallego, and Ott (2019) exclude Sideward Movement as illegitimate.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...
