This chapter focuses on the idea that the language of planning is full of fuzzy notions, concepts, doctrines, goals and visions. Fuzziness in planning is the main theme throughout the book. The planning community has just recently embraced communicative approaches, to allow inter-subjective interaction and consensus to develop.
