Generation Method and Application of Product-Oriented Medial Axis
In this paper, the generation method of the medial axis in the arbitrary quadrilateral surface is proposed. It can provide a solution for the simplification of the complex fillet feature and the generation of the mesh in the model.

An advancing front Delaunay triangulation algorithm designed for robustness [PDF]
A new algorithm is described for generating an unstructured mesh about an arbitrary two-dimensional configuration. Mesh points are generated automatically by the algorithm in a manner which ensures a smooth variation of elements, and the resulting ...

Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

The Accuracy of 3D Mesh Generation of Neuralangelo Versus Photogrammetry and LiDAR Technology
Photogrammetry and LiDAR have become an essential tool for preserving evidence by creating a point cloud of objects such as vehicles and environments. While effective, these methods often struggle with capturing fine details during the mesh generation ...

Towards a theory of automated elliptic mesh generation [PDF]
The theory of elliptic mesh generation is reviewed and the fundamental problem of constructing computational space is discussed. It is argued that the construction of computational space is an NP-Complete problem and therefore requires a nonstandard ...

Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.

3D‐Printed Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR) Sensors Based on Self Compliant Springs
This work explores 3D‐printed GMR sensors utilizing self‐compliant spring structures and conductive PLA composites. By optimizing arm width, we achieved high piezoresistive (0.34%/mm) and magnetoresistive (0.77%/mT) sensitivities. Demonstrated through Bluetooth‐integrated pressure and magnetic position sensing, these full printed low‐cost, customizable
