Generalized T-splines and VMCR T-meshes [PDF]
The paper considers the extension of the T-spline approach to the Generalized B-splines (GB-splines), a relevant class of non-polynomial splines. The Generalized T-splines (GT-splines) are based both on the framework of classical polynomial T-splines and on the Trigonometric GT-splines (TGT-splines), a particular case of GT-splines.

Generic mesh refinement on GPU [PDF]
Many recent publications have shown that a large variety of computation involved in computer graphics can be moved from the CPU to the GPU, by a clever use of vertex or fragment shaders. Nonetheless there is still one kind of algorithms that is hard to translate from CPU to GPU: mesh refinement techniques.

Effects of Mesh Generation on Modelling Aluminium Anode Baking Furnaces
Anode baking is critical in carbon anode production for aluminium extraction. Operational and geometrical parameters have a direct impact on the performance of anode baking furnaces (ABF), and hence on the resulting anode quality.

Evaluating Airfoil Mesh Quality with Transformer
Mesh quality is a major factor affecting the structure of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) calculations. Traditional mesh quality evaluation is based on the geometric factors of the mesh cells and does not effectively take into account the defects ...

Numerical Simulation Analysis of Cavitation Performance of Tandem Propeller [PDF]
The steady non cavitation hydrodynamic characteristics of CLB4-55-1 tandem propeller and the steady cavitation flows of NACA66 hydrofoil are numerically studied firstly based on the RANS equations of homogeneous multiphase using CFD theory, combined with

A fast and robust patient specific Finite Element mesh registration technique: application to 60 clinical cases [PDF]
Finite Element mesh generation remains an important issue for patient specific biomechanical modeling. While some techniques make automatic mesh generation possible, in most cases, manual mesh generation is preferred for better control over the sub ...

Magic123: One Image to High-Quality 3D Object Generation Using Both 2D and 3D Diffusion Priors [PDF]
We present Magic123, a two-stage coarse-to-fine approach for high-quality, textured 3D meshes generation from a single unposed image in the wild using both2D and 3D priors.

Cover interpolation functions and h-enrichment in finite element method [PDF]
This paper presents a method to improve the generation of meshes and the accuracy of numerical solutions of elasticity problems, in which two techniques of h-refinement and enrichment are used by interpolation cover functions.

A local, un-structured, re-meshing technique capable of handling large body-motion in rotating machinery [PDF]
In this paper we propose a simple, unstructured mesh generation technique that is capable of handling the large and complex blade motion that is encountered in certain rotating machines, such as vertical axis wind turbines or cycloidal propellers.

Pixel2Mesh++: Multi-View 3D Mesh Generation via Deformation [PDF]
We study the problem of shape generation in 3D mesh representation from a few color images with known camera poses. While many previous works learn to hallucinate the shape directly from priors, we resort to further improving the shape quality by ...
