3D‐Printed Sulfur‐Derived Polymers With Controlled Architectures for Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries
Rheology‐guided formulation design for direct ink writing enables the fabrication of 3D sulfur copolymer cathodes with controlled architectures for lithium‐sulfur batteries. The printed electrodes exhibit multiscale porosity and high sulfur utilization, delivering enhanced electrochemical performance compared to conventional cast electrodes.

Non-Uniform Offsetting and its Applications in Laser Path Planning of Sterolithography Machine [PDF]
Laser path planning is an important step in solid freeform fabrication processes such as Stereolithography (SLA). An important consideration in the laser path planning is to compensate the shape of laser beam. Currently the compensation is divided into

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

A detail-preserving method for medial mesh computation in triangular meshes
The medial axis transform (MAT) of an object is the set of all points inside the object that have more than one closest point on the object’s boundary. Representing sharp edges and corners of triangular meshes using MAT poses a complex challenge.

Optimized FE mesh generation procedure based on a user-defined spatial refinement gradient. Application to a motion segment [PDF]
Finite Element (FE) meshes are usually highly refined and dense and, consequently, computationally very expensive. Therefore, after the preliminary FE mesh generation, it is necessary to decrease its size by diminishing the total number of nodes and ...

Simplification of tetrahedral meshes with error bounds [PDF]
Presents a method for the construction of multiple levels of tetrahedral meshes approximating a trivariate scalar-valued function at different levels of detail. Starting with an initial, high-resolution triangulation of a 3D region, we construct coarser representation levels by collapsing edges of the mesh.

Interconnected Porous Hydrogels with Tunable Anisotropy Through Aqueous Emulsion Bioprinting
A 3D bioprintable microporous bioink is developed using an aqueous two‐phase system (ATPS) composed of extracellular matrix (ECM) mimetic biopolymers. The ATPS bioink enables the fabrication of interconnected porous architectures with up to 70% porosity, supporting long‐term cell viability and 3D cell alignment, enabling a simultaneous generation of ...
