Parametric animation of performance‐captured mesh sequences
Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds, 2012ABSTRACTIn this paper, we introduce an approach to high‐level parameterisation of captured mesh sequences of actor performance for real‐time interactive animation control. High‐level parametric control is achieved by non‐linear blending between multiple mesh sequences exhibiting variation in a particular movement.

Performance evaluation of the MESH-DQDC protocol
2008 International Conference on Telecommunications, 2008In this work, we focus on a WLANs mesh, i.e., an ad hoc, IEEE 802.11-based network whose nodes are either user devices or access points providing access to the mesh network or to the Internet. By relying on some work about IEEE 802.11 MAC analysis, we consider mesh-DQDC protocol and present an analytical model of the MAC scheme, through which we show ...

Mesh of Tree: Unifying Mesh and MFPGA for Better Device Performances
First International Symposium on Networks-on-Chip (NOCS'07), 2007In this paper we present a new clustered mesh FPGA architecture where each cluster local interconnect is implemented as an MFPGA tree network. Unlike previous clustered mesh architectures, the mesh of tree allows us to consider large clusters sizes (thanks to MFPGA depopulated local interconnect). Experimentation shows that we obtain a reduction of 14%

Mesh geometry impact on Micromegas performance with an Exchangeable Mesh prototype
Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 2016Abstract The reconstruction precision of gaseous detectors is limited by losses of primary electrons during signal formation. In addition to common gas related losses, like attachment, Micromegas suffer from electron absorption during its transition through the micro mesh.

Depth cameras are being extensively used to build 3D representation of physical spaces, bodies and objects from depth maps they output. This paper introduces different ways to work with depth map data for aesthetic purpose in the context of audiovisual performances using custom-written software and video projections based on state-of-the-art references

Performance modeling of -dimensional mesh networks
Performance Evaluation, 2010Mesh-based interconnection networks are the most popular inter-processor communication infrastructures used in current parallel supercomputers. Although many analytical models of n-D torus interconnection networks have been reported in the literature over the last decade, few analytical models have been proposed for the 2-D mesh case (and not for the ...

Performance of wire mesh mist eliminator
Chemical Engineering and Processing: Process Intensification, 2000Abstract An experimental study was made to measure the performance of wire mesh mist eliminator as a function of broad ranges of operating and design conditions. The experiments were carried out in an industrial scale layered type demister pad made of 316 L stainless steel wires. The demister performance was evaluated by droplet separation efficiency,

Performance evaluation of wire mesh heat exchangers
Applied Thermal Engineering, 2020Abstract Liquid-to-air cross-flow heat exchangers have a low heat transfer coefficient on the gas side due to poor thermal characteristics of air. One of the promising solutions is to attach extended surfaces on the gas side, thus increase the surface area of heat to transfer by convection.

Performance Analysis of IEEE802.11 Wireless Mesh Networks
2008 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2008The wireless mesh network is emerging as a promising technology in providing economical and scalable broadband Internet accesses to communities. The backbone of the wireless mesh network consists of mesh routers, which connect each other in an ad hoc manner via wireless links.
