This paper presents a novel spatio-temporal meshless method (STMM) for solving the time fractional partial differential equations (TFPDEs) with variable coefficients based on the space-time metric. The main idea of the STMM is to directly approximate the

In this work, we present the Taylor-SPH meshfree method for dynamic problem. The PDEs are written in terms of stress and velocity. A corrected Lagrangian kernel is employed for spatial discretization and two different sets of particles are used for time discretization.

A Numerical Analysis of the Influence of Oxygen and Glucose in Healthy and Tumour Cells
Cancer is widely regarded as a critical health issue in modern society. Tumour cells are usually associated with abnormal proliferation that disrupts the normal behaviour of the body.

Free Surface Analysis of Spillway Flow under Radial Gate by EFG-NE Method [PDF]
The element-free Galerkin method (EFG) and the natural element method (NEM) are two well know methods in the computational mechanics and meshless methods. In this paper, a computational scheme using a variable domain and a fixed domain is presented based

Meshless Local Petrov-Galerkin (MLPG) Method with Orthogonal Polynomials for Euler-Bernoulli Beam Problems [PDF]
In this paper, the feasibility of orthogonal polynomials in the meshless local Petrov Galerkin method (MLPG) method is studied. The orthogonal polynomials, Chebyshev and Legendre polynomials, are used in this MLPG method as trial functions.

A stabilized equilibrium-based EFG model for computation of collapse load
An equilibrium Element-Free Galerkin (EFG) based formulation for limit analysis of rigid-perfectly plastic plane strain problems is presented. In the formulation pure stress fields are approximated using a moving least squares technique, and a stabilized

On the Boundary Conditions in Out-of-Plane Analysis of Thin Plates by the Finite Point Method
The finite point method (FPM) is a numerical, mesh-free technique for solving differential equations, particularly in fluid dynamics. While the FPM has been previously applied in solid mechanics to analyze plates under in-plane loading, there remains a ...
