Meson exchange model for pseudoscalar meson-meson scattering [PDF]
A dynamical model for pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar meson scattering based on meson exchange, suitable for use in a variety of low- and intermediate-energy mesonic interactions, has been constructed and applied to ππ and kπ scattering with good quantitative results.

Bounds for Estimators of Ergodic Averages [PDF]
We consider different ergodic averages and estimate the measure of the set of points in which the averages apart from a given value. The cases considered are empirical measures of cylinders in symbolic spaces and averages of maps given a kind Lyapunov ...

On the topological entropy of the irregular part of v-statistics multifractal spectra [PDF]
Let (x, d) be a compact metric space and f : x → x, if xr is the product of r−copies of x, r ≥ 1, and φ : xr → r, then the multifractal decomposition for v −statistics is given by eφ (α) = ( x : lim n→∞ 1 nr p 0≤i1≤...≤ir≤n−1 φ ¡ f i1 (x) , ..., fir (x) ¢

Charm meson scattering cross sections by pion and rho meson [PDF]
Using the local flavor SU(4) gauge invariance in the limit of vanishing vector meson masses, we extend our previous study of charm meson scattering cross sections by pion and rho meson, which is based only on the pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar-vector meson ...

$\eta \to \pi^0 \gamma \gamma$ decay within unitarized chiral perturbation theory [PDF]
We improve the calculations of the $\eta \to \pi^0 \gamma \gamma$ decay within the context of meson chiral lagrangians. We use a chiral unitary approach for the meson-meson interaction, thus generating the $a_0(980)$ resonance and fixing the longstanding

Analysis of the b 1 meson decay in local tensor bilinear representation
We explore the validity of vector meson dominance in the radiative decay of the b 1(1235) meson. In order to explain the violation of the vector meson dominance hypothesis in this decay process, we investigate a model where the b 1 meson strongly couples

The role of meson exchanges in light-by-light scattering
We discuss the role of meson exchange mechanisms in γγ→γγ scattering. Several pseudoscalar (π0, η, η′(958), ηc(1S), ηc(2S)), scalar (f0(500), f0(980), a0(980), f0(1370), χc0(1P)) and tensor (f2(1270), a2(1320), f2′(1525), f2(1565), a2(1700)) mesons are ...

Cross sections for 2-to-1 meson–meson scattering
We study the processes $$K{\bar{K}} \rightarrow \phi $$ K K ¯ → ϕ , $$\pi D \rightarrow D^*$$ π D → D ∗ , $$\pi {\bar{D}} \rightarrow {\bar{D}}^*$$ π D ¯ → D ¯ ∗ , and the production of $$\psi (3770)$$ ψ ( 3770 ) , $$\psi (4040)$$ ψ ( 4040 ) , $$\psi ...

Mesons in Nuclei: η and ω Mesons [PDF]
Data on the photoproduction of omega mesons on nuclei have been re-analyzed in search for in-medium modifications. The data were taken with the Crystal Barrel(CB)/TAPS detector system at the ELSA accelerator facility in Bonn. The extracted omega line shape was found to be sensitive to the background subtraction.

Concavity of the meson Regge trajectories
It is illustrated by the fitted Regge trajectories for a large majority of mesons that the radial and orbital Regge trajectories for mesons prefer being concave in the (nr,M2) and (l,M2) planes, respectively. The concavity of the meson Regge trajectories
