Thermal energy of a charm-meson molecule in a pion gas
The thermal corrections to the propagator of a loosely bound charm-meson molecule in a pion gas are calculated to next-to-leading order in the heavy-meson expansion using a zero-range effective field theory.

Meson turbulence at quark deconfinement from AdS/CFT
Based on the QCD string picture at confining phase, we conjecture that the deconfinement transition always accompanies a condensation of higher meson resonances with a power-law behavior, “meson turbulence”.

Renal adaptations of Cerradomys goytaca associated with survival in its natural habitat. Graphical Abstract of the main renal physiological characteristics identified in C. goytaca. This species exhibits an increased kidney mass index, elevated urine osmolality, and enhanced tubular water reabsorption, indicating a higher capacity for water ...

Superexotic K*+D*+K*+ bound state
We study a system made from K*+D*+K*+ with charge 3, isospin I=3/2, spin J=3, and a quark content of cd¯s¯us¯u, which make it highly exotic relative to the standard qq¯ structure of mesons.

In-medium properties of mesons
In the project B.4, the modification of meson properties (mass, width) in a nuclear medium has been studied in photoproduction of mesons off nuclear targets.

ABSTRACT Species in grasslands restored from former arable land have multiple obstacles when establishing. Understanding whether these limitations stem from soil chemical or microbial differences could help to create suitable environments for specific target and other species with similar requirements.

Canscora agni (Gentianaceae), a new species from the fire‐prone Indian savannas
We describe Canscora agni from the Indian savannas as a distinct species which differs from its allied species Canscora alata in having fewer and shorter leaves, pedicel‐wings unequal across the length, bracts with glandular hair on the margins, calyx‐wings being four, wider, up to 2.3 mm, with distinct reticulate venation and having ovary length up to

There is only one set of the correct values of fF, fD and fS coupling constants in SU(3) invariant Lagrangian of the vector-meson-baryon interactions [PDF]
One can prove, there is generally eight various ω − ø mixings forms in elementary particle physics, which on one side give different forms of the vector-meson-nucleon coupling constants through fF, fD and fS in SU(3) invariant Lagrangian of the vector ...

Landscape heterogeneity is widely recognized as a driver of biodiversity, yet its consequences for above‐ground, foliage‐dwelling insect communities under active grassland management remain underexplored. Patch‐burn grazing (PBG), which rotates fire across patches within a grazed landscape, is designed to promote spatial and temporal heterogeneity by ...

The sigma-meson exchange contribution to the muonic hydrogen Lamb shift [PDF]
The sigma(ξ)meson exchange contribution to the potential of the muon-proton interactionin muonichydrogen inducedbythe ξ-meson coupling to two photons is estimated. The transition form factor ξ → γγ is deduced from the quark model and experimental data on
