The non-perturbative unquenched quark model

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
In recent years states in the quarkonium spectrum not expected in the naive quark model have appeared and created a lot of interest. In the theoretical side the study of the effect of meson-meson thresholds in the spectrum have been performed in ...

Vector-meson production and vector meson dominance

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
We consider the fidelity of the vector meson dominance (VMD) assumption as an instrument for relating the electromagnetic vector-meson production reaction $$e + p \rightarrow e^\prime + V + p$$ e + p → e ′ + V + p to the purely hadronic process $$V + p ...

In-medium Properties of the η′-Meson from Photonuclear Reactions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
Investigations of in-medium properties of the η′-meson are presented. The photoproduction of η′-mesons off 12C, 40Ca, 93Nb and 208Pb nuclei has been measured with the Crystal Barrel/TAPS detector system at the ELSA accelerator in Bonn.

Meson scattering in a non-minimally Lorentz-violating scalar QED at finite temperature

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
In this paper we study meson scattering in a non-minimally Lorentz-violating scalar QED at finite temperature. The meson scatterings were investigated in tree level and the finite temperature effects were addressed by using the thermofield dynamics ...

Two-index SU(N) theories from one flavor QCD to Steven Weinberg's ππ scattering legacy

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
I review and improve on how two-index SU(N) gauge-fermion theories help access salient information about the large N vacuum and spectrum of QCD, super Yang Mills and meson-meson scattering.

Mass and width of $$T_{c\bar{c}}(4020)$$ T c c ¯ ( 4020 ) in the developed Bethe–Salpeter theory

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
In experiments exotic meson resonance $$T_{c\bar{c}}(4020)$$ T c c ¯ ( 4020 ) lies above the $$D^{*}\bar{D}^{*}$$ D ∗ D ¯ ∗ threshold, and in principle one can not explain $$T_{c\bar{c}}(4020)$$ T c c ¯ ( 4020 ) as a meson-meson bound state because meson-

Unraveling the pattern of the XYZ mesons

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2014
We present a plausible mechanism for the origin of the XYZ mesons in the heavy meson spectra within a standard quark-model picture. We discuss the conditions required for the existence of four-quark bound states or resonances contributing to the heavy ...

Equivalence of Electromagnetic Fluctuation and Nuclear (Yukawa) Forces: the π₀ Meson, its Mass and Lifetime

open access: yesSubstantia, 2022
It is shown how Maxwell’s equations for the electromagnetic field with Planck quantisation of allowed modes appears to provide a semiclassical account of nuclear interactions. The mesons emerge as plasmons, collective excitations in an electron positron

The light scalar mesons as tetraquarks

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
We present a numerical solution of the four-quark Bethe–Salpeter equation for ground-state scalar tetraquarks with JPC=0++. We find that the four-body equation dynamically generates pseudoscalar-meson poles in the Bethe–Salpeter amplitude.
