Graph kernels have recently emerged as a promising approach for tackling the graph similarity and learning tasks at the same time. In this paper, we propose a general framework for designing graph kernels. The proposed framework capitalizes on the well-known message passing scheme on graphs.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Scalable Trajectory Prediction via Local Neighborhood Interactions
Accurate trajectory prediction is essential for autonomous driving systems to make safe and efficient decisions. Traditional global message-passing methods, though effective at capturing mutual interactions, suffer from an $O(N^{2})$ parameter ...

The graphical brain: Belief propagation and active inference [PDF]
This paper considers functional integration in the brain from a computational perspective. We ask what sort of neuronal message passing is mandated by active inference—and what implications this has for context-sensitive connectivity at microscopic and ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Joint user activity and signal detection for massive multiple-input multiple-output
In uplink grant-free massive multiple-input multiple-output (mMIMO) systems, the performance of available methods for joint user activity and signal detection deteriorates when the correlation of receiving antennas or the number of active devices ...

The Impact of the Collective Influence of Search Engines on Social Networks
A social network contains a significant set of spreaders whose activities can lead to largescale activation of network members. In order to find the minimal set of spreaders, many methods based on traditional network topology have been proposed. However,

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Enhanced Message-Passing Based LEACH Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks
This paper proposes a distributed energy-efficient clustering protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Based on low-energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) protocol, the proposed LEACH-eXtended Message-Passing (LEACH-XMP) substantially improves
