Diagnostic Yield of Sequencing for Prenatal Diagnosis of Fetal Structural Anomalies: An Updated Systematic Review

open access: yesPrenatal Diagnosis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The clinical utility of sequencing in prenatal diagnosis is known, but diagnostic yield varies widely depending on clinical indication. Here we update an earlier systematic review reporting the diagnostic yield of prenatal sequencing in structurally abnormal fetuses, with particular focus on factors affecting diagnostic yield.

Academic burnout and internet gaming disorder in Chinese adolescents: The chain mediating roles of depressive symptoms and negative attentional bias

open access: yesPediatric Investigation, EarlyView.
Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) is a prevalent mental health concern among adolescents. This study found that academic burnout positively predicted IGD, with depressive symptoms and negative attentional bias mediating this association, identifying critical targets for early prevention and intervention.

Analysis of balance in adults with chronic axial spinal pain receiving medial branch block or radiofrequency ablation procedures

open access: yesPM&R, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Medial branch blocks (MBB) and radiofrequency ablations (RFA) are common diagnostic, prognostic, and interventional procedures performed for the management of cervical and lumbar spine facetogenic pain. Although these procedures have established utility as pain management strategies, it is unclear if the disruption in function of ...

Minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusion: Primary endpoint results from the prospective, multicenter STACI study

open access: yesPM&R, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Chronic sacroiliac joint (SIJ) pain is highly debilitating. Minimally invasive SIJ fusion has become a commonly performed surgical treatment for SIJ pain, with level I evidence showing clinically significant improvements in pain, function, and quality of life and a low adverse event rate.

Harnessing Natural Compounds in Psoriasis: Targeting Cellular Pathways for Effective Therapy

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, EarlyView.
Natural compounds act on key cellular pathways in psoriasis by suppressing keratinocyte hyperproliferation, modulating Th17/IL‐17‐mediated immune responses, and reducing oxidative stress. These multi‐target effects highlight their potential as safer adjunctive therapies alongside conventional treatments.

Exploring Linalool‐Based Phytotherapy for Excitatory/Inhibitory Imbalance in Alzheimer's Disease: A Review of Lavender and Cannabis Therapeutic Effects on Sleep, Seizures, and Cognition

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, EarlyView.
Schematic overview of the proposed neuromodulatory actions of linalool in Alzheimer's disease. Through multi‐target effects on oxidative stress, amyloid aggregation, GABAergic and glutamatergic signaling, linalool may restore excitatory/inhibitory balance.
