Multi‐Dimensional Acoustic Cascaded Holographic Encryption with Instantaneous Visual Decryption via Particle Manipulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acoustic holograms act as key tools for information encryption, yet current schemes limit encryption dimensionality/security and require time‐consuming decryption. A compact device integrates multi‐dimensional cascaded acoustic holography with particle manipulation, employs extra secret keys, enables rapid decryption, and is validated via 1D/2D/3D ...

Ensemble Transductive Propagation Network for Semi-Supervised Few-Shot Learning

open access: yesEntropy
Few-shot learning aims to solve the difficulty in obtaining training samples, leading to high variance, high bias, and over-fitting. Recently, graph-based transductive few-shot learning approaches supplement the deficiency of label information via ...

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

Comparative Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Atlas Reveals the Genetic Regulation of Reproductive Traits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cross‐species single‐cell transcriptomic atlas of reproductive and central nervous system tissues from sheep and humans reveals conserved cellular programs and regulatory networks that regulated fertility. Integration with GWAS for sheep lifetime average litter size identifies UNC5–SLIT–BMP signaling as a core pathway coordinating neuroendocrine ...

MSFSS: A whale optimization-based multiple sampling feature selection stacking ensemble algorithm for classifying imbalanced data

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
Learning from imbalanced data is a challenging task in the machine learning field, as with this type of data, many traditional supervised learning algorithms tend to focus more on the majority class while damaging the interests of the minority class ...

Meta Continual Learning

open access: yes, 2018
Using neural networks in practical settings would benefit from the ability of the networks to learn new tasks throughout their lifetimes without forgetting the previous tasks. This ability is limited in the current deep neural networks by a problem called catastrophic forgetting, where training on new tasks tends to severely degrade performance on ...
