Circuit theory of metal-enhanced fluorescence [PDF]
Abstract Metal-enhanced fluorescence (MEF) comprises several linear phenomena which can be successfully described either by a classical theory or by a quantum one. Usually different phenomena are described by different classical models. Recently, an analytical model for a metal nanoantenna coupled to a quantum emitter was suggested that grants an ...

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Positive allosteric binding behavior of pyrene-appended triazole-modified thiacalix[4]arene-based fluorescent receptors [PDF]
The novel heteroditopic receptors 5a∼c have been synthesized, which bear a thiacalix[4]arene in the 1,3-alternate conformation. Two urea moieties possessing various aryl groups with either electron-donating or -withdrawing groups at their p-positions ...
