MICROSTRUCTURE AND DENSIFICATION BEHAVIOUR OF SURFACE COATED SILICON NITRIDE POWDER
For better control of the mechanical properties of Si3N4 ceramics, it is necessary to generate homogeneous nıicrostructures, and for this purpose, chemical heterogeneities must be minimised, by careful control of pO\\'der processing and the subsequent ...

As found by X-ray structure analysis (tBuO)4AlSnCl (1) is monomeric in the crystal and has a central AlO2Sn four-membered ring (Sn -O 2,153(5) Å , Al-O 1,807(7)Å). The corresponding iso-propyl derivative 2 reacts with SnCl2 to yield a coordination polymer (iPrO)4AlSn2Cl3 3 incorporating a new trigonal bipyramidal Sn2Cl3 + cation ...

From Molecule to Material: How Support Changes Heterobimetallic Catalysts in Lactide Polymerization
Silica‐supported heterobimetallic alkoxide complexes were developed as catalysts for lactide ring‐opening polymerization. Grafting iron‐based ate complexes onto SiO2‐700 produced well‐defined active sites, enabling controlled polymerization with predictable molar masses, narrow dispersities, and recyclability.

Structural features and reactivity of (sparteine)PdCl_2: a model for selectivity in the oxidative kinetic resolution of secondary alcohols [PDF]
The chiral ligand (−)-sparteine and PdCl_2 catalyze the enantioselective oxidation of secondary alcohols to ketones and thus effect a kinetic resolution.

Quinuclidine, as a tertiary amine, can rapidly polymerize epoxy groups. We investigated the relationship between amine properties and polymerization behavior by monitoring the reactions of various tertiary amines with epoxy groups. The results indicate that quinuclidine, the most nucleophilic amine examined, promotes epoxy polymerization.
