Alkenylation and Allylation of Aldehydes by Using an Ni/Cr/TDAE Redox System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
In 360 females, Bone mineral density (BMD) in lumbar vertebrae (L2-L4) was assessed by quantitative computed tomography (QCT), and the values obtained were compared with the frequency of vertebral transformation or fracture as assessed by lateral scan ...

Sol-gel Process in Preparation of Organic-inorganic Hybrid Materials [PDF]

open access: yesKemija u Industriji, 2008
Organic-inorganic hybrid materials are a sort of nanostructured material in which the organic and inorganic phases are mixed at molecular level. The inorganic phase in hybrid materials is formed by the sol-gel process, which consists of reactions of ...

Biocatalytic Regioselective C‐Formylation of Resorcinol Derivatives

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
An acyltransferase from Chromobacterium sphagni (CsATase) was identified that catalyzes the regioselective formylation of resorcinol substrates. The formylation of substituted resorcinol derivatives yielded mono‐formylated products with up to 99% conversion and up to 74% isolated yield.

Boosting the Nucleophilicity of the Diphenylphosphide Anion with Crown Ether Supported Heavy Alkali Metals to Facilitate Highly Efficient Catalytic Alkene Isomerisation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Here, we report a breakthrough study in catalytic alkene isomerisation using crown ether‐supported alkali metal phosphides in which the activity increases sequentially and significantly as Group One is descended with Cs(18‐crown‐6)PPh2 (1Cs) performing best.

High‐Efficacy and Polymeric Solid‐Electrolyte Interphase for Closely Packed Li Electrodeposition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, 2021
The industrial application of lithium metal anode requires less side reaction between active lithium and electrolyte, which demands the sustainability of the electrolyte‐induced solid‐electrolyte interface.

Alkoxide complexes of rhenium, niobium and tantalum [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This thesis describes two major methods for preparation of new mono-, bi- and trimetallic complexes on the basis of Rhenium, Niobium and Tantalum: (1) - the electrochemical method for the synthesis of Re4O4(OEt)12 and (2) - the interaction of Rhenium ...
