Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Assessing the Potential of Heterotrophic Bioleaching to Extract Metals from Mafic Tailings
Mafic mine tailings are highly resistant to bioleaching due to their silicate-rich composition, low sulfide content, and strong buffering capacity. This study aimed to assess the potential use of heterotrophic bioleaching to promote the release of metals

In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

Pyrometallurgical Process to Recover Lead and Silver from Zinc Leaching Residue
During the roasting, leaching, and electrodeposition of zinc ores, lead–silver residues are produced. These residues contain valuable metals (Pb, Zn, and Ag) and toxic metals (Cd and As).
