Scalable Perovskite Quantum Dot Glass Nanocomposites for High‐Efficiency Luminescent Solar Concentrators

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study evaluates the scalability of PQD GNC‐based LSCs for BIPV applications. Experimental data and Monte Carlo simulations predict performance up to 1 m2, achieving a peak power conversion efficiency of 3.17%. The results confirm the viability of these LSCs for energy‐efficient building applications.

Heterostructured Sn:SnO2 Nanodots for High‐Performance Li–S Batteries with Kinetics‐Enhanced Cathode and Dendrite‐Free Anode

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Heterostructured Sn:SnO2 nanodots decorated on reduced graphene oxide can simultaneously enhance conversion kinetics and inhibit dendrite growth, enabling stable lithium–sulfur batteries. Abstract The practical application of lithium–sulfur batteries is limited by polysulfide shuttling and sluggish reaction kinetics at the cathode, as well as ...

Mechanisms of Anode Interfacial Phenomena and Multi‐perspective Optimization in Aqueous Alkaline Zinc‐Air Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zinc‐air batteries demonstrate great potential for sustainable energy storage but face major anode‐related challenges. This review provides a mechanism‐driven overview of zinc anode interfacial issues, e.g. dendrite formation, passivation, self‐corrosion, and hydrogen evolution; and explores advances in electrode, surface, and electrolyte engineering ...
