Dual‐nickel atom catalysts (Ni‐DACs) are developed to stabilize unsaturated Ni─N3 atomic sites by constructing N3Ni─NiN3 dual‐atom structures from coal. Benefiting from the modulated electronic structure that optimizes intermediate adsorption, Ni‐DACs outperform Ni‐SACs in CO2 electroreduction, achieving a max FECO of 98.6% at −0.8 V vs RHE and a TOF ...

Moving Beyond 99.9% Coulombic Efficiency for Anode‐Free Sodium Metal Battery
Iron‐anchored carbon nanotubes (CNT‐Fe) are developed as a 3D sodiophilic host for anode‐free sodium metal batteries. The Fe nanoparticles significantly enhance sodium adsorption and ensure uniform deposition, enabling an exceptional 99.9% Coulombic efficiency over 1100 cycles and long‐term stability in high‐loading full cells.

Abstract Metallurgy, as discussed in this chapter, focuses on phases normally encountered in stainless steels and their characteristics. This chapter describes the thermodynamics and the three basic phases of stainless steels: ferrite, austenite, and martensite. Formation of the principal intermetallic phases is also covered. In addition,
