NaNb13O33 micron‐sized particles are explored as a practical Li+‐storage anode material with comprehensively good electrochemical properties and broad temperature adaptability. This new niobate owns the largest interlayer spacing among the known shear ReO3‐type niobates.

Metalurgia calcolítica en Carmona (Sevilla) [PDF]
This paper faces the scientific study of Chalcolithic minerals, slags and copper objects recovered few years ago, in two excavations, in the city of Carmona. The study of slags is of particular interest owed to the scarcity of this kind of pyrometallurgical material belonging toso early archaeological contexts.

Le seul objet en métal recueilli à Tamtok est un petit GRELOT en « bronze » à l’arsenic. Ce grelot qui fut trouvé dans des déblais, avait sans doute été fondu sur place, à la cire perdue, car il contenait encore la partie interne de son moule, fait d’argile et de graphite.

Heat treatments that alter the proportions of austenite and ferrite phases or induce the precipitation of phases such as sigma in duplex stainless steel UNS S32205 make it more susceptible to pitting and crevice corrosion. However, the effects of these treatments are not always evident when analyzed using the cyclic polarization technique.

In situ high‐temperature X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and absorption spectroscopy (XAS) reveal state dependent thermal evolution of Li1.2Ni0.2Mn0.6O2. Pristine electrodes transform from layered‐to‐spinel, while cycled electrodes convert directly to Li‐containing rock‐salt. The onset temperature drops with delithiation and partly recovers after relithiation.
