Electrophoretic Deposition of Chitosan Films Doped with Nd2Ti2O7 Nanoparticles as Protective Coatings against Corrosion in Saline Solutions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Polymer Science, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
In this study, the electrophoretic deposition of chitosan films doped with Nd2Ti2O7 nanoparticles was carried out as corrosion protection systems for exposed materials in aqueous environments rich in chlorides. Completely crystalline Nd2Ti2O7 nanoparticles with an average size of 100‐200 nm were obtained.

Comparison of Novel 1 GPa Low‐Carbon, Low‐Alloyed Steel Produced with Simulated and Laboratory‐Scale Thermomechanical Controlled Processes

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 96, Issue 3, March 2025.
A laboratory‐scale hot‐rolled Ti–Mo–V–Nb steel with 1 GPa tensile strength is produced, and its microstructure and tensile properties are characterized using advanced analysis techniques and tensile testing. A Gleeble 3800 thermomechanical simulator is used to determine a process window. Results show significant differences in mechanical properties and

Silver Nanoparticles Synthesized with Rumex hymenosepalus: A Strategy to Combat Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS) in a Cultivated White Shrimp

open access: yesJournal of Nanomaterials, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS) or Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Syndrome (AHPNS) is a disease produced by gram‐negative bacteria Vibrio parahaemolyticus (V. parahaemolyticus), which has caused declines in worldwide production of a white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei (L. vannamei).
