AbstractBased on the formāinvariance of Maxwell's equations under coordinate transformations, mathematically smooth deformation of space can be physically equivalent to inhomogeneous and anisotropic electromagnetic (EM) medium (called a transformation medium). It provides a geometric recipe to control EM waves at will. A series of examples of achieving

We report the first dielectric metamaterials nanostructured from solution-processed organolead halide perovskite thin films. Metamaterials exhibit strong resonances tunable by design across the visible spectrum, aiming applications in enhanced photovoltaics and light-emitting devices.

Aim of this chapter is that readers can obtain an outline about metamaterials from concept to principle after reading. Concept introduction of negative refraction index was given firstly, including literature review, history regarding the negative refraction index, and illustration of energy and momentum in negative refractive index materials.
