Pharmacokinetics of metamizol metabolites.
Agents and actions. Supplements, 1986When administered to humans, metamizol rapidly undergoes predominantly nonenzymatic biotransformation, yielding a vast number of active and later inactive metabolites. The biotransformational pathways and the clinical significance of the metabolites are discussed in the light of their individual pharmacokinetics.
