European Journal of Philosophy, EarlyView.Abstract F. W. J. Schelling's philosophy of nature (Naturphilosophie) has received significant renewed interest and reappraisal. This research has – like the majority of work in the philosophy of nature and the history of science more generally – focused on Schelling's understanding of life, but eschews any discussion of death.

Insect Molecular Biology, EarlyView.Parasitoid wasps deploy maternal and embryonic factors to reprogramme host physiology. Venom, calyx fluid, polydnaviruses, teratocytes and larval secretions act in a coordinated, compartmentalised manner. Host‐regulation factors are promising sources of insecticidal, antimicrobial and bioinspired translational molecules.

Bacteriomes, cryptic forms and evolution of a common wireworm pest species, Hypnoidus bicolor
Insect Molecular Biology, EarlyView.Wireworms are important agricultural pests, including Hypnoidus bicolor in the Canadian Prairies. Parthenogenetic and sexual populations of H. bicolor appear associated with different molecular clades. Bacterial community composition and structure were influenced by developmental stage, sampling location and host genetics.
